Project: Tutor/Mentor Leadership Conference
My role in this project included:
- Site layout and design
- XHTML/CSS (tableless layout)
- Project management including supervision of a volunteer PHP programmer
- Information architecture
- Copywriting
This is a biannual conference held for those involved with tutoring and mentoring programs. This conference is run by the Tutor/Mentor Connection, my current employer.
This site was previously designed using online templates and needed a complete redesign. Previous site navigation was an unordered list of pages, so creating a site where conference attendees could quickly find the information they needed was very important. Conference attendees often print agenda and other pages so a print stylesheet was a key feature.
This site redesign was completed in February 2007.
